How the treatment works
Radiofrequency energy reorganizes and repairs vaginal collagen to improve elasticity.
A Viveve tip, slightly smaller than a tampon, is inserted through the vaginal opening and delivers monopolar radiofrequency evenly to deeper mucosa. Cooling fluid protects the surface, so the controlled deep heating feels only warm. Over the following 1–3 months, the tissue initiates collagen regeneration.

How painful is the treatment?
No anesthesia is needed and there is almost no pain. Patients describe little or no sensation, or only a feeling of warmth.
When can sexual activity resume?
Because there is no external wound, intercourse is physically possible the same day. However, tissue renewal takes time, so waiting at least seven days is recommended.
When do results appear?
Tissue renewal begins immediately after treatment, becomes noticeable within 7–30 days, and continues improving for 3–6 months.
How is it different from other lasers?
