Motiva's natural breast contours and shape
European CE certification / Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety authorization / ISO 13485 certification
Motiva implants obtained GMP certification for safety and quality standards applying to manufacturing and imported medical products, and were approved for sale after Korean food and drug regulators inspected the manufacturing facilities on site. They also comply with EU requirements for safety, health, the environment, and consumer protection and hold comprehensive CE certification. Motiva is authorized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, while its manufacturing facilities hold ISO 13485 certification and operate in a controlled environment.
Motiva's natural breast contours and shape
Motiva implant materials offer strong durability. The ergonomic silicone-gel shell combines precision and elasticity, allowing a smaller surgical incision. Motiva's viscoelastic silicone gel moves naturally under gravity: it forms a teardrop-like contour when standing and spreads naturally when lying down.
MOTIVA ERGONOMIX
High-performance shell
The shell combines elasticity, which can reduce incision size, with precision that limits impact on surrounding tissue during placement.
Properties of the silicone gel
Made from silicone gel intended for long-term implantation and evaluated through FDA chemical, physical, and biological testing.
Surface treatment
Uses a specialized surface structure without foreign substances such as salt or sugar that could damage the implant shell.
BluSeal® monitoring technology
Barrier-layer technology allows the safety status of a Motiva implant to be checked within the Motiva Implant Matrix system.
UDI Microtransponder
The VeriTeQ UDI Microtransponder is a radio-frequency identification device (RFID) intended for use in the body and for identifying breast implants.

REAL ONE STOP CARE
01
Preoperative examination
Preoperative testing is essential for surgical safety. To assess anesthesia safety, chest X-rays, electrocardiography, blood tests, and other examinations are performed to identify possible liver, heart, kidney, lung, or anemia-related conditions. These results help determine whether the patient can safely undergo surgery and general anesthesia and provide a clear picture of overall health.
02
Breast cancer screening and assessment for abnormalities
Patients who have not yet undergone breast cancer screening should be examined before surgery to confirm that there are no breast abnormalities. REAL places safety first, so this step is not omitted even though it adds complexity. Screening can be coordinated with the surgical schedule at a nearby partner hospital.
03
Minimal dissection, trusted implants, and a highly specialized breast-surgery team
The patient signs informed consent, fully reviews postoperative precautions, and consults the director again to confirm the surgical plan before proceeding. Surgery is performed under the direction of a senior plastic surgeon with more than ten years of breast-surgery experience, while a specialist anesthesia team monitors the entire procedure in real time.
04
Postoperative recovery and hospital stay
After surgery, the patient receives focused care in the recovery room until fully stable. A hospital stay is arranged when necessary. REAL's safety system is activated throughout recovery, with continuous supervision by anesthesiologists, nurses, and the medical team.
05
Care after discharge
After discharge, REAL provides a personalized recovery plan to reduce swelling and support recovery with attentive follow-up care.
Questions and answers
Q&A
Is Motiva round or teardrop-shaped?
Motiva is neither a conventional round nor anatomical teardrop implant; it is Ergonomix. Compared with traditional implants, Ergonomix uses ergonomic technology to move under gravity more like natural breast tissue, giving a more natural shape and feel. It assumes a teardrop-like form while standing and spreads naturally while lying down.
Is the Motiva surface smooth or textured?
Motiva uses a finely manufactured Nano Surface. No foreign material such as salt or sugar is used on the surface. This is designed to improve biocompatibility, encourage natural interaction with surrounding tissue, and help the implant move with the breast.
What is the chip in a Motiva implant used for?
A Motiva implant may contain an identification chip that can be scanned internationally. It helps identify the implant, verify its information, and support quality assurance if a problem occurs. Pricing differs depending on whether a chip is included, so discuss the choice during consultation.
